Internet/Email Basics objectives

The Internet/Email Basics class from Computer Teach will show you how to navigate websites and search for information. The Internet class will also teach you how to send and receive email and register with a website. The Internet computer class includes the following:

1. NAVIGATING WEB SITES
a) Typing web site addresses
b) Clickable links
c) Scrolling, back button

2. SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION
a) Google searches with one word and multiple words
b) News Article Searches
c) Searching with Yahoo Subjects and Categories

3. SENDING/RECEIVING EMAILS
a) Viewing email in the inbox
b) Sending Emails
c) Replying and Forwarding

4. REGISTERING WITH A WEB SITE
a) Creating a user id and password
b) Filling out a web based form
c) Submitting Information
